Responsibilities
- Identify and Qualify Leads: Proactively reach out to prospects, identifying and qualifying leads through calls, emails, videos, events and social media
- Collaborate with Sales Team: Work closely with our Business Development managers to ensure a smooth handover of qualified leads and support them in expanding our reach within selected target accounts
- Research and Target: Actively keep up with market trends and payment research to identify key companies and contacts to target by understanding their needs and pain points
- Creative Outreach: In this ever-expanding amount of noise, you will need to ideate new creative ways to get through to prospects
- Relationship Building: Develop initial relationships with prospects, gaining their interest and addressing early questions
- Product Knowledge: You'll be required to learn and understand payments and Primerโs products at an intermediate level with the ability to showcase our product and answer some technical questions
- Lead Progression: Expertly guiding leads through the initial stages of the sales process
- Track and Report Metrics: The ability to document your engagements and keep CRM up to date so you can report on lead quality and pipeline progress
Preferred Qualifications
- Have a minimum of 6 months in a similar BDR/SDR role
- Have knowledge or passion for online payments
