Summary
Join Settle's sales team as a key contributor to top-of-funnel lead generation and demand capture. You will guide prospects through the sales cycle, from initial contact to their first payment or financing request on our platform. This role involves developing a robust pipeline for account executives, creating and managing outbound lead generation campaigns, and engaging in creative prospecting. You will initiate sales conversations with key decision-makers at target brands, maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Settle platform, and report key performance indicators. The ideal candidate possesses 1+ years of experience in a customer-focused or sales role, with a proven track record of selling to financial stakeholders. Requirements
- 1+ years experience in a customer-focused or sales role, with experience selling to CFOs/CEOs and financial stakeholders
- Self-starter with the ability to initiate prospecting, managing, and qualifying prospects
- Enthusiasm for fostering relationships and interpersonal interactions
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail
- Experience using: i.e (Salesforce, Apollo, Linkedin Sales Navigator, ChatGPT, Charm.io and Loom)
- An innate ability to prioritize ruthlessly, resilient perseverance, and the courage to strive for perfection
- Ability to be resourceful and thrive in dynamic, rapidly evolving environments
- Affinity (or insatiable curiosity) for acquiring specialized knowledge around e-commerce and CPG brands
Responsibilities
- Develop a robust pipeline for our Account Executives on the Working Capital team
- Create and manage outbound lead generation campaigns using email and social media to identify and qualify potential brand partners
- Engage in creative outbound prospecting, build and enrich lead lists, craft compelling outbound messaging, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to the broader commercial team
- Initiate sales conversations with Founders, CEOs, CFOs, and COOs at target e-commerce and CPG brands
- Gain and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Settle platform
Preferred Qualifications
- A background in b2b fintech (payments and/or lending)
- Accounting, commercial lending, or bookkeeping experience
- A quantitative focus, commercial mindset, and experience working with datasets
