Business Development Representative

Summary
Join AvePoint as a bilingual (French and English) Business Development Representative (BDR) and support our partner, MSP Corp. This role focuses on identifying and qualifying new business opportunities for managed IT services across Canada. You will prospect and identify new managed services customers, use strategic outreach to understand their needs, and schedule discovery meetings. Responsibilities include outbound efforts to engage new prospects, promoting MSP Corp’s value proposition, and high-volume outreach via phone, email, and social media. You will also manage prospect lists, collaborate with the marketing team, and utilize sales automation tools. The role requires bilingual proficiency, 1–3 years of sales experience (preferably in IT or MSP), strong communication skills, and experience with CRM and sales automation tools. The position is remote and requires availability during Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours.
Requirements
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English (spoken and written) is required
- 1–3 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the IT or MSP industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with CRM and sales automation tools (ConnectWise, ZoomInfo, HubSpot)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
- Must be available to work Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours
Responsibilities
- Prospect and identify new managed services customers for MicroAge locations
- Use strategic outreach to understand prospects’ business needs and challenges
- Schedule a minimum of five (5) BANT-qualified discovery meetings per week
- Ensure smooth handoff and continuity between prospecting and the sales process
- Identify and engage new business prospects through outbound efforts
- Promote MSP Corp’s value proposition, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Microsoft Services and Solutions, Cybersecurity Services and Solutions
- Conduct high-volume outreach (100+ calls/day) via phone, email, and social media
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual lead generation targets
- Build and manage prospect lists using tools like ZoomInfo, website visitor tracking, and intent data
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute outbound campaigns
- Utilize Sales Engage (ZoomInfo) for sales automation and campaign execution
- Track all activities and lead data using ConnectWise CRM
- Qualify inbound leads from sources such as the company website, trade shows, and HubSpot marketing campaigns
