Summary

Join Valatam as a Bilingual Business Development Representative (BDR) and work fully remotely from anywhere in Latin America! This role focuses on prospecting and contacting potential clients to schedule discovery calls for our US and Canadian clients. You'll be responsible for adding leads to our outreach tool, updating CRM, making calls, and performing manual outreach. Success is measured by generating 5 qualified sales calls per week. Once this KPI is met, you have flexible working hours. The role requires strong English skills, experience with CRM and outreach tools, and a dedicated workspace. Valatam offers a competitive base pay in USD plus uncapped sales commissions, along with opportunities for professional development and a healthy work-life balance.

Requirements

  • Possess C1/C2 English writing and speaking skills
  • Have experience with Hubspot, apollo.io, or similar tools
  • Have 1+ years of BDR and sales cold-calling experience to set sales appointments
  • Be an independent, problem solver, adaptable, and possess great communication skills. Must LOVE cold-calling and the art of selling
  • Have a quiet home office with a desk and office chair
  • Have stable internet with at least 10 MBPS download & 2 MBPS upload speed
  • Have a laptop/desktop with 8GB RAM, a 1.6GHz processor, and 50GB of free hard-drive space, a headset, and a smartphone
  • Have access to a quiet "home office"
  • Have access to a backup place of work in case they suffer a power cut or internet failure, as well as a secondary backup internet option (mobile hotspot, Multibam, WiPod, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Add 40 vetted leads to our outreach tool (Apollo.io) personalized email sequences & LinkedIn sequences daily
  • Keep Hubspot CRM updated
  • Make 100 phone calls daily
  • Perform high-touch manual outreach
  • Perform manual follow-ups by phone/email/LinkedIn
  • Track activities daily in a scorecard
  • Attend daily huddles and weekly feedback sessions with the rest of the team
  • Experiment with FB/Twitter outreach
  • Build community and awareness (responding to Quora, LinkedIn, blog posts recommending our services)
  • Attend sales huddles and trainings with enthusiasm, a genuine love for sales and a yearning for learning
