Join Axonius as a Team Lead, Business Development EMEA in Dublin, Ireland! This Player/Coach role requires scaling the Business Development Representative (BDR) team, driving lead generation, and developing high-performing BDRs. You will be responsible for implementing strategic initiatives to meet ambitious revenue targets in the EMEA region. Close collaboration with BDRs, Field Account Executives, and Leaders is crucial for regional growth. The position involves both BDR responsibilities (75%) and team leadership & management (25%). Success requires exceeding targets and fostering a positive team environment.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a Sales Development Representative or similar role, with a proven track record of exceeding targets
- Strong understanding of the sales development process and best practices
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and prospects
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Resides in or near Dublin, Ireland
Responsibilities
- Generate Qualified Leads: Proactively identify and qualify leads through strategic outbound campaigns (calls, emails, LinkedIn) in collaboration with 2-4 Field Account Executives
- Provide continuous coaching, conduct regular performance reviews, and foster a positive, collaborative team environment
- Develop and implement strategic outbound campaigns and lead generation initiatives, analyzing sales data to optimize team performance and align with sales and marketing goals
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance lead generation efficiency, develop best practices for lead qualification and handoff, and ensure consistent use of CRM and sales enablement tools
- Collaborate closely with Field Account Executives, Marketing, and Sales Operations teams, providing feedback to improve marketing campaigns and sales strategies
- Act as a coach for existing BDRs in Dublin while aligning with the Director of Sales Development on strategy, enablement, and development of the team
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership, and develop regular reports on team performance, pipeline development, and campaign effectiveness
- Provide ongoing coaching and development to ensure BDRs achieve and exceed their individual and team targets
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Manage team morale and motivation, creating a positive and collaborative work environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven track record of success in a sales management or team lead role in a BDR/SDR environment
- Experience in the technology or cybersecurity industry
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), outbound sales tools (e.g., Outreach), contact databases (e.g., ZoomInfo), and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data and provide actionable insights
- Experience in the EMEA market
