Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, or a related field (e.g., startups, consulting, corporate strategy)
- Proven ability to build and implement scalable processes, tools, and workflows from the ground up
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a preference for candidates experienced in designing and interpreting data-driven models using SQL
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to drive multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Highly structured in your communication, you convey complex ideas clearly and concisely. You present ideas both written and visually with great attention to detail and impact
- The ability to prioritize ruthlessly in order to move quickly. You identify what’s most important alongside the points of diminishing returns. You identify problems and move quickly to establishing solutions
- The intellectual agility to generate and shepherd novel ideas, approaches and strategies. Refer to our company values “ Ask What Could Be ” and “ Assume You Don’t Know ”
- We're primarily focused on hiring in North American time zones and require that folks have 4+ hours of overlap time with team members in Eastern Time Zone
Responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally across teams and surfaces to ‘run’ the day-to-day operations of the business
- Design and launch new operational functions from the ground up, from initial pilots to metrics-driven systems that advance our strategic goals
- Partner with our leadership team to evolve our CompanyOS - improving how we plan, align, collaborate, and execute as a company
- Build frameworks and systems to drive better decision-making, resource allocation, and strategic planning
- Transform operational bottlenecks into scalable processes that enable rapid growth
- Create metrics and reporting systems that surface the insights our teams need most
- Drive cross-functional initiatives that improve how we collaborate and execute
- Get onboarded onto the team with an onboarding buddy
- Attend onboarding presentations on how we give each other feedback, the phases a startup goes through, and our operational strategy
- Begin building relationships with teams across the company
- Develop a deep understanding of the company’s tools, processes, and stakeholders
- Map our current operational landscape to identify immediate opportunities and outline a plan to address them
- Identify immediate operational priorities and deliver quick wins
- Regularly share feedback about Arc in our #dogfooding channel
- Independently lead key operational projects and collaborate effectively across teams
- Streamline at least one core process, making it more efficient and scalable
- Launch improvements to core processes that make them more efficient and scalable
- Pilot new systems that enhance cross-functional collaboration
- Build data-driven insights that inform strategic decisions
- Begin evolving parts of our CompanyOS
- Partner with leadership to identify and address operational gaps
- Drive cross-functional initiatives that directly support company-wide alignment and strategic goals
- Build and launch at least one 0-1 function or system to address a critical business need
- Establish regular reporting and metrics tracking processes that provide actionable insights to leadership
- Lead improvements to our planning and execution frameworks
- Be interview trained and interviewing candidates for roles at The Browser Company
- Shape how we operate as we scale to support millions more users

- The annual salary range for this role is $165,000 - $190,000 USD . The actual salary range offered will vary based on experience level and interview performance
- Comprehensive benefits package with employee medical, dental, and vision - we cover 100% of premiums for employees, and up to 95% for dependents

- Flexible vacation policy - on average, our team members take between 15-20 vacation days a year, plus federal holidays (holidays vary by location)
- Remote-friendly working environment - our core working hours are 11 AM-2 PM Eastern Time
- 12 weeks of paid parental leave
