Join Fantasy, a human-centered product design company, as a remote Freelance Business Strategist working EST hours. You will play a key role in driving the strategic vision for our clients by conducting financial analyses, identifying growth opportunities, and aligning business models with customer needs. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of experience in business strategy or a similar role and strong analytical and communication skills. This is a remote position.

Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of experience in business strategy, management consulting, or a similar strategic role. (Experience conducting financial analysis, business case development, and market assessments)
  • Ability to analyze complex data, identify opportunities, and formulate actionable recommendations
  • Strong skills in financial modeling, revenue analysis, and understanding profitability drivers
  • Proficiency in conducting competitive landscape analysis and identifying market trends
  • Ability to collaborate with research teams, synthesize findings, and extract meaningful insights
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and deliver compelling business cases
  • Experience working cross-functionally with design, research, and leadership teams
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (financial modeling), PowerPoint, and data analysis tools
  • Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methods

Responsibilities

  • Lead the review and analysis of existing financial data to identify opportunities for revenue growth and optimization
  • Conduct business and customer model assessments to ensure alignment with loyalty strategies and global market needs
  • Perform revenue model analysis and provide recommendations to drive profitability
  • Own the benchmarking process, conducting landscape analysis to identify industry trends, market gaps, and competitive opportunities
  • Support stakeholder interviews by preparing questions, analyzing responses, and extracting strategic insights
  • Provide insights that inform strategic recommendations and innovation opportunities
  • Contribute to brainstorming and ideation sessions, ensuring ideas align with business objectives and customer engagement goals
  • Support the refinement of final concepts by validating feasibility and alignment with strategic direction
  • Develop a robust business case to support loyalty program recommendations, integrating financial models, market insights, and customer data
  • Create clear, actionable, and data-driven strategic justifications for proposed solutions
  • Assist in crafting and delivering the final presentation, highlighting strategic insights, financial impact, and actionable recommendations
