Business Systems Developer

Summary

This full-time, hybrid role involves designing and implementing AI-enabled systems to automate workflows and improve productivity. You will shape business operations, own projects end-to-end, and leverage automation and AI to drive real change. The ideal candidate will have experience in software development, systems architecture, and low-code tools, along with a strong understanding of APIs, system integrations, and cloud platforms. This role is primarily remote with occasional team gatherings.

Requirements

• Experience in software development, systems architecture, and low-code tools
• Comfortable working with APIs, system integrations, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP)
• Experience working in the Microsoft eco-system (PowerApps, PowerAutomate, PowerBI, SQL, Sharepoint, Azure, etc.)
• Experience using AI tools to solve real-world problems
• You thrive in ambiguity. You’re proactive, self-directed, and love turning “what ifs” into working systems
• You enjoy digging into how things work and making them better

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom tools and automations that streamline business processes
• Build and integrate systems using APIs, scripts, and cloud services to connect platforms (e.g., CRM, project management, HR, finance)
• Find ways to incorporate AI and other new technologies into our processes to create efficiencies and support data-driven decision making
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify friction points and design creative solutions
• Own technical projects from discovery through deployment and continuous improvement
• Bring a product mindset to internal tooling, prioritizing usability, scalability, and ROI

A background in operations, financial analysis, business analysis, or process design
