Requirements

  • Well-rounded knowledge of accounts receivable processes including billing, cash receipts and collections
  • Strong math, typing, and computer skill, especially with Microsoft programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, research, problem solving, and time management skills
  • High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments
  • Previous experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in standard business applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Working knowledge of a CRM system, preferably Salesforce

Responsibilities

  • Field incoming calls from clients internally and externally, including any account inquires
  • Review onboarding of new or returning customers and activate accounts
  • Act as liaison between external and internal clients to ensure that all needs are met
  • Provide clients with detailed account information, which may include copies of invoices, statements and detailed reconciliations when appropriate
  • Resolve any client disputes that may include extensive research and rebilling
  • Partner and communicate effectively with internal clients including newsroom, sales, operations and other finance teams to ensure all requests are handled accurately and efficiently
  • Implement contract terms on client accounts, including but not limited to discounts
  • Create and maintain directive notes on client accounts as well as update client information as requested
  • Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete
  • Work as a team member to provide outstanding customer service and support

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree, or international equivalent, and customer service experience
  • 1 year of relevant experience
