Summary
Join Team Carney, a government contractor specializing in partner support and performance acceleration, as a Capture Manager. This remote position requires expertise in capture planning, developing teaming relationships, and navigating the federal government procurement process. You will lead capture efforts, perform market analysis, build relationships with clients and partners, and manage capture team activities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of closing new business and a strong understanding of government procurement processes.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in business administration, political science, law, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management, capture management, or related roles
- Experience with government procurement processes (e.g., GSA, DCAA, DoD)
- Proficiency in proposal writing and proposal support
- Ability to travel on an as-needed basis
- U.S Citizenship is required
- Individuals may also be subject to a background investigation
Responsibilities
- Create and implement strategies to secure new business
- Lead capture efforts including solution design and teaming
- Perform market analysis and competitor assessments to find opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and industry experts
- Manage capture team activities to align with organizational goals
- Identify potential markets and develop entry strategies
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging markets to drive growth
- Develop partnerships and alliances that enhance business opportunities
