Care Adviser

Summary

Join Wellthy as a Care Adviser and support our Care Coordinators by performing various care-related tasks. You will conduct research, complete tasks, and deliver high-quality results for our members, working remotely from a private, dedicated space. This role requires an Associate's Degree or higher, 3+ years of experience in customer service or administrative work within healthcare, and experience with research and vetting medical providers. While not a direct point of contact for families, you'll play a vital role in ensuring seamless caregiving support. Growth opportunities within the company are available. The starting salary is $19-$20.50/hour.

Requirements

• Associates Degree or Higher
• 3+ years work experience in Customer Service/Administrative work specifically within the healthcare, caregiving, health insurance or mental health space
• Experience using search engines, health insurance sites, or similar to do research for resources for families with specific care needs
• Ability to understand and navigate the healthcare system and/or community resources that would be available for families in need
• Experience researching and vetting medical providers and specialists
• Experience in mental health/ substance abuse with a general knowledge of diagnoses. Experience locating mental health providers, residential facilities, and support groups
• To work remotely, you must have a strong internet connection, quiet space to take calls and a professional (distraction free) environment

Responsibilities

• Execute a variety of care-related tasks to support Care Coordinators in delivering a high-quality member experience
• Maintain a task load that aligns with employment status (FT/PT) while consistently meeting output and quality standards
• Leverage Wellthy’s Care Network and available tools to ensure timely and effective task completion
• Conduct thorough research to gather, analyze, and synthesize information that supports members’ caregiving needs
• Utilize creative thinking to identify and implement effective, resourceful solutions tailored to individual care plans
• Partner closely with Care Coordinators and Care Managers to ensure seamless execution of tasks and timely progress
• Proactively communicate updates, task progress, and any barriers to completion
• Ensure all assigned tasks meet Wellthy’s quality standards, including attention to detail, timeliness, and accuracy
• Support the development, maintenance, and improvement of internal resources, including guides and team tools, contributing to the depth of Wellthy’s knowledge base

Preferred Qualifications

• More than one language is a plus
• Remote work experience preferred
• Proficiency with macOS systems, GSuite, Slack, and 1Password
