Carrier Relations Manager in Germany

Summary

The Carrier Relations Director (Global) will lead the strategic direction and coordination for global API connectivity at Vonage. They will collaborate with various teams to understand market requirements, identify systems and processes for scaling new connectivity, recruit and develop senior commercial leaders, build strategic relationships, and align with the legal team. The ideal candidate should have experience leading senior commercial teams and projects, a strategic mindset, knowledge of the cloud communications industry, and extensive experience working directly with Carriers.

Requirements

• Knowledge and experience of leading senior commercial teams and projects
• Highly evolved strategic mindset capable of driving new initiatives from ideation to execution
• Experience leading complex commercial projects involving extended virtual teams
• Knowledge of the cloud communications industry (UCaaS/ CCaaS and /or APIs)
• Deep knowledge of how the API marketplace is regulated, operated and managed
• Experience working directly with the world’s largest digital brands
• Extensive experience working directly with Carriers (CSPs) globally

Responsibilities

• Create, own, and lead the plan for global international coverage ensuring Vonage has the best connectivity products and services to meet customers' needs
• Collaborate with Vonage/Ericsson executive and directorate, CSP project teams, business development, sales, marketing, operations and product teams to fully understand market requirements and develop robust commercial planning models
• Identify and drive systems and processes that enable Vonage to scale new connectivity with Carriers and Partners across network services and next generation API's
• Recruit, develop and support senior commercial leaders to create sustainable growth via CSP partnerships
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with CSP leaders, industry regulatory bodies and key vendor partners
• Position Vonage as the partner to work within the carrier community through industry engagement thought leadership and partnership
