Remote Carrier Reporting & Analytics Specialist

Summary

The job is for a Data Analyst at Insurify, a fast-growing FinTech startup. The role involves collaborating with the Carrier Management team, analyzing insurance carrier performance data, developing and maintaining data dashboards, and communicating findings to stakeholders. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field, 2-5 years of experience in data analysis, proficiency in data visualization tools and data analysis software, excellent analytical skills, effective communication skills, and experience with project management tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in data analysis (2-5 years), preferably within a comparison marketplace or search product
• Understanding of the insurance industry
• Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data analysis software (e.g., SQL, Python, R)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
• Experience interacting and building relationships with external partner teams
• Effective communication skills to convey data insights and recommendations to various stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Carrier Management team to identify and implement performance optimization strategies
• Analyze insurance carrier performance data and generate actionable insights to inform decision-making
• Develop, maintain, and enhance data dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Work with the product and analytics teams to integrate carrier performance data into broader business operations
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, both internally and externally with insurance carriers
• Manage tasks and projects using Asana to ensure timely completion and effective collaboration across teams
• Act as a counterpart to the Insurify Analytics team, contributing data-driven insights and supporting the Carrier Management team’s overall objectives
• Transition current ad hoc analysis performed by team members into standardized processes
