Requirements
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with carriers, internal teams, and customers over the phone and via email
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Upper-intermediate + English Level
- Proven experience in logistics or a similar role
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations and logistics procedures
- Experience in logistics and familiarity with TMS platforms and load boards, such as Ascend TMS, DAT Load Board, Sylectus Load Board and others
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume outbound calls to carriers nationwide to secure capacity for freight transportation
- Handle incoming calls from carriers interested in hauling freight for Arrive and provide them with necessary information
- Sell shipments over the phone to carriers who meet the company's strict requirements, ensuring that all loads are covered efficiently
- Act as a point of contact for carriers and internal teams to resolve any issues that occur during transit, such as delays, route changes, or damages
- Quote loads using the DAT Load Board to provide competitive rates
- Secure load coverage through strategic load postings and proactive cold outreach
- Negotiate rates effectively to meet budget and service goals
- Qualify carriers using Carrier411 and MyCarrierPackets to ensure compliance
- Set up approved carriers in the Transportation Management System (TMS)
- Build and manage loads within the TMS, ensuring timely progress through operational stages
- Conduct regular tracking and tracing of shipments, including twice-daily check calls
- Proactively update brokers on any potential issues to mitigate service disruptions
