Summary
Join Version 1 as a Change Manager Consultant and champion the rollout of Windows 11 for a major client. Collaborate with IT, project managers, and business units to plan and execute a smooth migration for users with complex environments. Conduct user impact assessments, identify critical applications needing special handling, and develop migration plans minimizing disruption. Coordinate user communications, training, and support, and track and resolve issues. Facilitate feedback loops and post-migration support to ensure adoption and satisfaction. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree and experience in change management and IT transformation projects. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Experience in change management, IT transformation, or desktop migration projects
- Strong understanding of Microsoft operating systems, particularly Windows 10 and 11
- Experience working with end users who rely on complex tools such as Excel macros, legacy applications, or specialized software
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience in enterprise-scale OS migration or digital workplace transformation
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with IT, project managers, and business units to plan and execute the Windows 11 migration
- Conduct user impact assessments, focusing on high-risk or high-dependency users
- Identify and document critical applications, macros, and content that require special handling
- Support the development of migration plans that minimize disruption to business operations
- Coordinate user communications, training, and support materials tailored to different user groups
- Track and resolve issues related to application compatibility, data migration, and user readiness
- Facilitate feedback loops and post-migration support to ensure adoption and satisfaction
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in the energy sector or utilities a plus
