Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a PreSales capacity
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Great presentation skills and the talent to excite people with your demos
  • The ability to explain complex technical topics in a simple way
  • Fluent language skills in English and German
  • Knowledge of Endpoint Management and Endpoint Security solutions
  • Fun in technology in general and in creating technical solutions to excite and astonish customers
  • Experience demonstrating enterprise software solutions to technical and business audiences
  • Ability to work well with both IT and business people
  • Ability to work independently in remote office locations
  • Willingness to travel – mainly within DACH but also across EMEA

Responsibilities

  • Built strong channel partners and help them to do business with Ivanti
  • Outline value proposition of Ivanti portfolio to prospects and partners
  • Educate sales staff of channel partner companies in identifying opportunities and selling Ivanti products
  • Educate technical staff in the capabilities of various Ivanti products and show them how to excite customers through presentations, demos and evals
  • Act as technical contact for partners regarding technical questions
  • Perform live demos and presentations
  • Act as a speaker for customer events
  • Complete onboarding and training programs to become familiar with Ivanti's products and solutions
  • Shadow Channel Managers and peer Channel Sales Engineers to learn about partner interactions and sales processes
  • Establish relationships with key internal stakeholders, including the Channel team and Product Management team
  • Attend partner meetings and demonstrations to gain hands-on experience presenting Ivanti solutions
  • Conduct deep-dive technical discussions with prospects and partners
  • Take ownership of pre-sales activities for assigned focus partners across EMEA
  • Drive the development and delivery of tailored presentations, demos sales plays for partners and distributors
  • Collaborate with Channel Managers to develop and execute partner-specific enablement strategies
  • Participate in industry events, roadshows, and trade shows to promote Ivanti's solutions
  • Contribute to the development of sales materials and resources, including case studies and product collateral
  • Continuously update knowledge of Ivanti solutions and stay up-to-date with industry trends
  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor and technical expert for Ivanti channel partners
  • Achieve and exceed targets for channel sales and growth in EMEA
  • Educate partners in identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling Ivanti solutions to existing customers
  • Provide feedback to Product Management team on customer requirements and market trends
  • Mentor and support newer members of the Sales Engineering team
