Summary
Join Nuvei, a Canadian fintech company, as a Channel Sales Representative and be a key member of the European B2B team. Manage and grow relationships with Value-Added Resellers (VARs), acquiring new merchants through these partner channels. Build our presence in the European market, working closely with channel partners and internal teams to drive adoption of Nuveiโs innovative payment solutions. Support various go-to-market motions, educate partners on Nuveiโs solutions, and identify and close new merchant opportunities. Collaborate with VARs on joint sales efforts, build and manage a sales pipeline, and ensure smooth onboarding for new merchant accounts. Contribute to the overall go-to-market strategy by sharing market insights and partner feedback.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, channel sales, or merchant services; experience with VARs and/or the payments industry is highly desirable
- Demonstrated success in managing a sales pipeline and consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Solid understanding of payment processing, including acquiring, card schemes, alternative payment methods, or embedded finance
- Strong relationship management and partner enablement skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-growth, early-stage market with evolving structures and strategies
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders
- Self-starter with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment
- Confident in presenting complex technical solutions to both business and technical audiences
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with assigned VARs and ISVs across Europe, acting as their primary sales contact at Nuvei
- Support a range of go-to-market (GTM) motions, including Sell-To, Sell-Through, and Sell-With models, depending on the partner type and engagement strategy
- Educate partners on Nuveiโs solutions and enable them to drive referrals and sales activity
- Identify and close new merchant opportunities through the VAR network
- Collaborate with VARs on joint sales efforts, including merchant presentations and deal negotiations
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of sales opportunities, with accurate forecasting and regular reporting to senior management
- Ensure a smooth onboarding experience and ongoing support for new merchant accounts
- Contribute to the overall go-to-market strategy for B2B in Europe by sharing market insights and partner feedback
