Chief of Staff

Join AvantStay, a rapidly growing venture-funded company in the short-term rental industry, as our Chief of Staff. You will be a key player in ensuring alignment between company vision and execution of strategic objectives. This role demands strong analytical skills, operational expertise, and the ability to collaborate across a global organization. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for problem-solving and creating exceptional customer and homeowner experiences. You will work remotely, contributing to high-level strategic initiatives while also diving into detailed financial analysis. Compensation is $65,000-80,000 USD, and a company-provided computer is included.

Requirements

• Have a strong business acumen and know that problem-solving goes beyond the numbers
• Be a self-starter and have a bias for action
• Have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and analytics tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Be able to perform quantitative and qualitative analyses using financial modeling techniques
• Demonstrate the ability to effectively define and resolve problems that balance multiple needs and interests
• Have excellent communication and people skills and an ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth company
• Have a proven ability to build strong working relationships with business partners and be seen as a trusted advisor
• Be able & willing to work US business hours, including flexibility for off-hours (nights & weekends)

• Serve as a force multiplier for our C-suite, ensuring alignment between the company’s vision and execution of strategic objectives
• Drive collaboration across our global organization by providing complex financial analysis
• Execute on operational goals
• Optimize business practices
• Juggle competing priorities and be equally happy deep diving into detailed analysis as you are by brainstorming 30,000-foot view strategic initiatives
