Remote Chief of Staff

Summary

The job is for a Chief of Staff at CHOOOSE, a climate tech company that provides digital solutions to decarbonization programs in various sectors. The role involves supporting the CEO and senior leadership team, leading special projects, defining and tracking organizational KPIs, and fostering a communicative culture. The ideal candidate is versatile, has experience in high-impact companies, exceptional operational experience in consulting and/or finance, superior communication skills, and is willing to travel frequently.

Requirements

• Atypically versatile and high agency. Thinks and acts like a CEO. Able to quickly dive into many roles and do them well
• Demonstrated experience in high-impact, earlier-stage companies
• Exceptional operational experience in consulting and/or finance is preferred
• High endurance and ability to work inconsistent hours to support an organization and customer base operating across multiple geographies
• No ego. Willingness to continuously evolve the role to best support the organization
• Pacesetter; extremely steady and diligent
• Ability to travel frequently and at times, on short notice
• Superior verbal and written communication skills in English; Norwegian is a plus

Responsibilities

• Act as a proxy for the CEO and senior leadership team, supporting or taking ownership of a diverse, changing set of activities
• Lead special projects end-to-end with meticulous planning and execution; includes internal projects relating to operational process improvement, reviewing net new business opportunities, vendor evaluation and management, among other areas
• Support in defining, tracking and communicating organizational KPIs
• Enable a highly communicative and transparent culture; examples include supporting internal wikis and facilitating cross-team knowledge sharing
