Summary
Join a post-revenue, seed-stage behavioral health startup as their dynamic Chief of Staff. Work closely with the CEO, driving strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations. This highly visible role involves project ownership across the company, acting as a force multiplier for the CEO. You will manage a wide range of duties, from shaping long-term strategy to handling urgent operational needs. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, possesses exceptional problem-solving skills, and is comfortable with a fast-paced environment. This role offers significant growth potential, with the intention of placing you into a C-Suite role after one year.
Requirements
- Have 2-4 years of experience in management consulting (Bain, McKinsey, BCG, etc.) or equivalent operational roles at a high-growth startup
- Possess exceptional analytical skills with a proven ability to problem-solve and think strategically
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships inside the company, as well as with partners and customers
- Be highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
- Be able to manage competing priorities in a rapidly changing environment
- Have a strong sense of ownership and an โanything it takesโ attitude to get the job done
- Have experience working with cross-functional teams and managing complex projects
- Have prior experience or interest in the healthcare industry, with a particular focus on provider workflows and experience and/or behavioral health
- Have high proficiency in Google Suite, Notion, Excel, and other project management tools
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate strategic initiatives
- Manage special projects and cross-functional priorities
- Support external partnerships and client relationships
- Conduct research and prepare reports, presentations, and business reviews
- Oversee internal communications and ensure alignment across teams
- Analyze key business metrics and help develop data-driven insights
- Identify operational bottlenecks and work to resolve them
