Summary

Join Garner Health as their Chief of Staff to the CMO, a fully remote position partnering with the Chief Marketing Officer. You will own the annual and quarterly planning process, develop team OKRs and budgets, and ensure all marketing deliverables are on time and meet quality standards. Responsibilities include managing team KPIs and metrics, overseeing team and company communications, and continually challenging strategic bets. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of experience as a Chief of Staff or in marketing communications, exceptional organizational and analytical skills, and excellent communication skills. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience, ideally as a Chief of Staff and/or in communications roles in Marketing
  • Exceptional organizational skill, attention to detail, and a high bar for operational excellence
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to understand complex marketing dynamics and approaches
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Developing executive presence
  • Experience in budget development and goal setting
  • A solid understanding of the various marketing functions

Responsibilities

  • Own the annual and quarterly planning process, develop team OKRs, and team budgets
  • Ensure all marketing deliverables are on time and meet the CMOโ€™s quality bar; act as the editor on the CMOโ€™s behalf when needed; escalate and resolve issues to de-risk bad outcomes; continually improve the effectiveness of the CMOโ€™s time
  • Manage team KPIs and metrics to maximize team impact; pressure test the teamโ€™s investments with consistent and clear ROI measures; drive accountability for all marketing functions
  • Oversee team and company communications for the Office of the CMO to drive alignment, clarity, and organizational inspiration
  • Continually challenge the CMO's strategic bets, surface unknowns, and ensure decisions are made with the most information possible
