Claims Production Manager

Summary

Join Oscar's Claims Production team as a Manager! You'll lead and develop a team focused on efficient and accurate claims processing. This role involves implementing best practices, coaching team members, and identifying operational improvements. The position requires experience in claims, data analysis, and team leadership within a health plan environment. While based in NYC, Tempe, or LA, this role offers a blended work model with remote options. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of commensurate experience
• 4+ years leading, coaching and developing direct reports in a large team fast paced environment within Claims
• 3+ years experience with using data and metrics to problem solve and drive root cause analysis
• Experience in health plan environment

Responsibilities

• Creating, tracking, and implementing best practices for project management to improve overall claims processing results through daily queue management and project tracking
• Utilize frameworks to intentionally develop and coach your team in order to build future leaders within the organization
• Take a proactive, forward-thinking and data-driven approach to identify concerns, inefficiencies, and operational improvement initiatives throughout the Claims space that drive desired cultural and operational outcomes
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Google Suite
• Process Improvement experience
• Experience as a leader in a remote environment
