Summary
Join Tint as a Claims Representative and deliver exceptional customer experiences while processing claims across various lines of business. You will review claims, gather supporting documentation, collaborate with internal and external teams, communicate claim decisions, and identify potential fraud. This full-time, fully remote role requires 1–2 years of insurance claims experience, a strong customer support background, and an active adjuster license. Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in insurance claims experience
- Strong customer support background
- Active adjuster license
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedures
- Clear and compassionate written and verbal communication skills (for both internal and external communication)
- Excellent accuracy with numbers
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and learning new tools quickly
- Able to handle sensitive or emotional customer situations with professionalism
Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end claims process across multiple lines of business (auto, property, travel, etc.)
- Review submitted claims for completeness, accuracy, and eligibility based on policy coverage
- Gather and analyze supporting documentation such as receipts, photos, reports, and third-party statements
- Collaborate with internal teams, underwriters, and third-party administrators to ensure timely and fair resolution
- Communicate claim decisions clearly and empathetically to customers
- Identify potential fraudulent behavior patterns and escalate as appropriate
- Assist with reporting and data entry related to claim outcomes, trends, and processing times
- Help refine and improve our claims operations and internal documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- Past experience with Auto Mobility Insurance and/or Vacation Rental Insurance
- Experience in a startup, InsurTech, or technology-driven environment
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license
- Familiarity with embedded insurance or non-traditional insurance products
- Spanish or Russian proficiency or experience supporting bilingual customers
- Proficiency with G Suite, Slack, Snapsheet, Zapier, and CRM tools (i.e. Front)
- Experience with Snapsheet/Vice or other claims management systems
- Bilingual (Spanish)
