As a pivotal role within our Engineering team, you will be responsible for architecting, deploying, and managing advanced cloud-based infrastructure to support critical healthcare applications.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in cloud operations and infrastructure management, with significant experience in a senior or leadership role
- Licensure/Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect certification highly desired
Responsibilities
- Strategic Infrastructure Design and Deployment: Lead the design and deployment of scalable and secure cloud-based infrastructure, leveraging advanced AWS services such as Lambda, S3, API Gateway, EC2, ECS, and ECR
- Advanced AWS Networking: Oversee AWS networking components including VPCs, subnets, ACLs, routing, VPC peering, and security groups, ensuring robust and secure connections
- Automation and Solution Engineering: Develop and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and Terratest, including hands-on coding. Create and manage GitHub Actions workflows for automated CI/CD processes
- Solution Development and Implementation: Engage in solutioning sessions to design and deploy comprehensive cloud solutions that meet business needs
- Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct peer code reviews, ensuring adherence to high standards of code quality and functionality
- Leadership and Collaboration: Lead project teams, providing technical guidance and support. Collaborate with various stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues
