Requirements

• 2 years of writing experience
• Familiarity with consumer tech coverage
• Detail-oriented, with a keen eye for deals and the latest shopping trends
• A love for gadgets and a passion for service journalism

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain buying guides
• Produce select pieces of evergreen content
• Work closely with reviewers and editors to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Perform price/stock checks as needed
• Write articles and newsletters informing readers of sales or deals
• Produce seasonal gift guides anchored around holidays like Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day
• Occasionally assist with special keynote events and product launches
• Work occasional weekends or holidays, particularly during peak sale hours
• Pitch/write reviews
• Pursue long-form features
• Take on other editorial tasks for The Verge, time permitting
