Commercial Counsel

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in law, legal studies, business, or related field
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• 5+ years of related experience, preferably in a corporate legal department and/or law firm
• Strong knowledge of contract law and commercial transactions
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts and agreements, including vendor, partnership, and customer agreements
• Act as point person between legal, growth, security and finance to own the contracting process
• Provide legal analysis and strategic advice on potential transactions
• Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations affecting the company's operations
• Provide general legal support to internal departments on an as-needed basis
