Commercial Lines Account Manager

Summary

Join ReSource Pro as a Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager and become the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients. Manage large books of business, drive customer retention, and expand coverage to increase revenue. Collaborate with onshore/offshore teams to renew policies, secure new business, and optimize client accounts. Build strong client relationships, train junior team members, and leverage your expertise to advise clients and colleagues. This remote position requires a Bachelor's degree, 3-7 years of P&C insurance experience, an active license, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and agency management systems. The role is based in the Central or Eastern time zone.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Risk Management, or related field or equivalent experience
• 3-7 years Property and Casualty insurance experience or related coverage experience in a retail agency or service center
• Active Resident Property and Casualty insurance license required
• Located in Central time zone or Eastern time zone to accommodate client
• Condo/Co-op experience in NY or FL
• Microsoft Office Proficiency - Excel required
• Experience working in Agency Management System required
• Ability to adapt and succeed within a team-oriented environment
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Manage large books of business for commercial lines insurance clients
• Drive customer retention and market additional lines of coverage to grow business and properly insure risks
• Evaluate carrier relationships, commercial insurance products, and market placement
• Provide quality and timely service to customers and clients
• Research, provide recommendations and implement ReSource Pro solutions for clients
• Work in a variety of Agency Management Systems to complete tasks
• Lead day-to-day customer interactions
• Use your subject matter expertise to consult with customers and advise colleagues
• Gather information about client needs and insurance solutions
• Collaborate with coworkers and supervisors to meet client needs and contribute to achievement of internal team goals

Preferred Qualifications

Industry designations preferred such as CPCU, CIC, CISR, ARM
