Commercial Lines Account Manager

Summary

Join World Insurance Associates as a Commercial Lines Account Manager! This remote position, based in Florida, requires a 2-20 P&C license. You will manage a high volume of insurance business, build client relationships, and handle renewals, claims, and new policies. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred, along with three years of commercial account management experience. Strong administrative and computer skills are essential. Requirements

• Possess a 2-20 P&C license
• Have three years minimum Commercial Account Management experience
• Possess a Property & Casualty License
• Have a valid driver’s license and insurance
• Possess strong administrative and computing skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point)
• Be able to work independently and enjoy a high degree of interaction with team members
• Be self-motivated and driven
• Maintain a sense of urgency and ability to work with and meet deadlines
• Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication, including the ability to actively listen, and problem solve with minimal assistance
• Have the ability to multi task, prioritize, work independently, and use discretion surrounding sensitive information
• Be able to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage a high volume book of Insurance business, ensuring all required tasks are completed accurately and on-time
• Grow client loyalty by building positive relationships and providing high levels of advocacy, excellent service, and professional communication
• Handle renewals, service requests, claims, billing and new policies
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the markets and their appetites, underwriting guidelines, submitting and procedures
• Review all applications, policies, endorsements and audits for accuracy
• Coordinate expiration list with department manager to obtain renewal business information

Preferred Qualifications

• Have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Have Applied/Epic or similar agency management software experience
