Summary

Join Willow, a global company digitizing the build world, as a Commercial Manager based in Seattle. You will play a key role in supporting strategic growth by managing deal execution, contract negotiations, and client relationships. This role will primarily support executive leadership and work cross-functionally to drive commercial success in new and existing markets. The ideal candidate has strong experience in deal-making, client engagement, and commercial real estate or healthcare, ideally within an adjacent SaaS technology industry such as real estate tech or proptech.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in finance, sales operations, business analysis, or a similar role
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, BI tools, or CRM systems)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial negotiations, draft and review contracts, and ensure alignment with company objectives and risk tolerance
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, forecasts, and performance metrics
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, managing relationships and ensuring satisfaction throughout the deal lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track performance
  • Work closely with leadership, sales, legal, and finance to coordinate and deliver commercial proposals, pricing models, and partnership terms
  • Provide support in CRM system management and data integrity
  • Apply knowledge of SaaS technology within the smart buildings, healthcare, higher education, commercial real estate, or technology sectors to identify new commercial opportunities and support go-to-market strategies
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform sales strategies
  • Provide direct support to senior leaders to manage strategic accounts, track commercial performance, and support decision-making

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with sales methodologies and best practices is a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial roles, including contract negotiation, client management, and deal execution
  • Background in SaaS technology for healthcare, commercial real estate, or an adjacent technology industry (e.g., real estate tech, proptech, digital health)
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex deals and cultivating long-term client relationships
  • Strong understanding of contract terms, pricing structures, and commercial risk
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a high level of commercial awareness
