Communications & PR Manager

Summary

Join Aptos as a Communications & PR Manager for APAC to oversee and manage all communications and public relations efforts across the region, enhancing the visibility and reputation of Aptos Labs in APAC.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related field, preferably within the Web3 or technology sectors
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies that enhance brand visibility and reputation
• Strong media relations skills with a network of contacts in the APAC region
• Experience in crisis communication management, with the ability to respond swiftly and effectively to potential PR issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in English; knowledge of Mandarin or another APAC language is a must
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a comprehensive communication strategy tailored for the APAC region to enhance brand visibility and reputation
• Managing all media relations, including the development and distribution of press releases, media pitches, and handling media inquiries
• Overseeing crisis communications to mitigate risks and protect the brand’s reputation
• Managing and growing Aptos Labs’ social media presence across APAC, ensuring consistent and engaging content
• Collaborating closely with the Brand and Events Manager to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms and events
• Leading the creation of external communication content, including speeches, blogs, and newsletters
• Monitoring media coverage and providing regular reports to the global team on communication efforts and media sentiment
