Join komoot's 100% remote team as a Community Manager, focusing on the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). You will cultivate and grow komoot's thriving outdoor community by engaging with top users, organizing meetups, and creating educational content. Responsibilities include rewarding community contributors, managing a new Pioneer program, and facilitating real-life experiences. The ideal candidate possesses strong community management experience, native German fluency, and excellent communication skills. Requirements
- Two years experience working with top users as well as online community management
- Native German and fluent English
- Experience delivering 1-to-1 onboarding and webinars
- Experience in organizing community meetups and real life experiences
Responsibilities
- Develop strong relationships with top users in DACH
- Connect with top users on komoot and develop a roster of interesting profiles using our scouting tools
- Spotlight our best users in DACH by selecting ideal profiles and stories, and featuring them in our product and in brand communications
- Successfully manage the transition to a new and improved Pioneer programme that’s in development and have played a key role in its success
- Reward and connect DACH Pioneers with meetups and experiences that align with our strategy
- Educate groups of users with webinars and ‘how to’ content that accelerate their journey to becoming Pioneers
- Independently manage users who contribute the most to our community by supporting their requests and ideas
- Proactively manage our most engaged Pioneers. Working closely with Support
- Be directly involved in 2-4 trips and meetups with our community and facilitate the community hosting many more
- Guide us on what’s happening in the community and identifying opportunities
- Support yearly reviews and supporting investment ideas
Preferred Qualifications
- Located in DACH in the CET timezone
- Happy to travel and work 5-10 weekends a year (compensated with time in lieu policy)
- Being an existing komoot user would really help you thrive in this role
