Community Manager

Summary

Join Octopus Energy as a Community Manager and become a vital part of our superstar social media team. You will provide world-class customer support across multiple platforms, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues. This 100% remote role requires flexibility to work various shifts covering 8 am to 10 pm, 7 days a week. You will collaborate with PR and marketing teams on crisis communication and build relationships with our engaged customer community. Experience in the energy industry is preferred but not required; a passion for learning and a comfortable remote work style are essential. Requirements

• Possess an avid appetite to learn
• Be confident in flexibility and comfortable with a 100% remote role and varied shifts
• Be comfortable working remotely, building relationships via chat and zoom, and supporting team members and customers

Responsibilities

• Offer customer support and care on social media channels (X, Bluesky, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn)
• Deliver world-class customer service on social media
• Work with senior leadership to creatively solve customer complaints
• Respond to breaking news and crises alongside the PR & marketing team
• Provide one-touch fixes for customer issues, resolving problems independently
• Engage with and foster relationships with our most engaged customers
• Work a mix of shifts covering 8am to 10pm, 7 days a week
