Summary

Join Singularity 6, a game development studio in Los Angeles, as a Community Manager for a 3-month temporary assignment supporting the Palia expansion. You will foster a positive player community, develop and execute engagement strategies, partner with other teams on initiatives, manage community platforms, and provide player feedback. This role requires proven experience in community campaigns for gaming products, strong communication skills, and a deep passion for games. Requirements

  • Proven experience executing successful community campaigns for gaming products
  • Strong grasp of gaming communities, particularly within cozy games or community-focused titles
  • Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
  • Deep passion for games, online culture, and building healthy, vibrant communities
  • Experience managing social and community platforms (Discord, Twitch, Twitter)

Responsibilities

  • Foster a positive, engaging, and cohesive player community around the upcoming Palia expansion
  • Develop and execute community engagement strategies to amplify the expansion
  • Partner-up with the Publishing and Gameplay development teams to roll out key community initiatives specific to the expansion, including launch communications and Doulive-game updates
  • Execute cross-channel community engagement plans for expansion launch, feature rollouts, and both in- and out-of-game events
  • Help develop and manage player engagement initiatives, patch notes, blog posts, social media updates, and digital content across Discord, Twitch, Twitter, and other platforms
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on community sentiment, growth, and engagement metrics
  • Provide meaningful player feedback to development teams to drive improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional experience in community management, creator management, or equivalent roles in the gaming industry
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), markdown, HTML, and digital publishing tools
  • Skills in video editing, graphic design, or social media marketing tools
