Community Operations Intern

Summary

Join Think Academy US, an Ed-Tech company, as a part-time Community Operations Intern to support our Facebook Group community. You will create content for educational technology products, engage with group members, and plan community activities. This role involves moderating discussions, creating engaging posts, and collecting community feedback. The ideal candidate is passionate about online communities, has excellent communication skills, and is familiar with the U.S. K-12 education system. The internship is remote, with a flexible schedule of Wednesdays to Fridays, 10 am to 4 pm PST. Think Academy offers professional growth opportunities and a competitive hourly rate of $20.

Requirements

• Students or recent graduates in Marketing, Communications, Education, or related fields
• Genuine interest in online communities and social media platforms (especially experience with Facebook Groups)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Chinese/Spanish is a plus)
• Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Friendly, proactive, and creative personality
• Familiarity with the U.S. K-12 education system and interest in Educational Technology

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and engaging new group members to foster a friendly, active community
• Assisting with moderating group discussions and ensuring members follow group rules
• Help planning and creating engaging posts, polls, or events relevant to our community
• Supporting in preparing group communications, announcements, and member spotlights
• Monitoring group activity and provide feedback or ideas to enhance group engagement
• Collecting and organizing community feedback to help improve our products and content
• Working closely with the operations and content team to coordinate content strategy, group campaigns, or initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in group moderation, content planning, or running community events
