Summary

Join FloQast as a Compensation Analyst Contractor to support the maintenance and administration of compensation programs. This contract role involves job evaluation and pricing, analyzing compensation data, and supporting various compensation programs. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, possess strong analytical and project management skills, and work effectively with global teams. This is a 1099 fixed-term US-based remote contract paying $65 per hour for 20-30 hours per week over 5-6 months. The role requires assisting the Total Rewards team, conducting job evaluations, partnering with HR, participating in compensation surveys, supporting job architecture, preparing reports, and assisting with documentation. The position demands strong analytical and project management skills and experience with compensation tools.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Compensation Analyst or similar position
  • Working knowledge of base and variable pay practices and techniques and the laws and regulations affecting compensation and recognition programs
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect and analyze data using basic and intermediate analysis techniques in MS Excel / Google Sheets (sort/filter, vlookups, index/match, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision
  • Strong project management skills to drive initiatives to completion and manage fast-changing priorities
  • Practical experience with compensation tools such as Comptryx Mercer, Radford, Pave
  • Solid understanding and practical application of of international compensation rules and regulations with an emphasis on USA and UK

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Total Rewards team on the administration of compensation programs and implementation of compensation projects and initiatives
  • Conduct job evaluation and pricing of new and updated roles to ensure they are internally equitable and market competitive
  • Partner with the HR People Operations and Technology team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our compensation data in various systems such as UKG Pro and Pave
  • Participate and facilitate in compensation surveys as needed
  • Support maintenance and success of our global job architecture and salary structure
  • Prepare routine and ad hoc compensation analysis and reports as needed
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of compensation program documentation such as descriptions, workflows, policies, guidelines etc
  • Any other tasks that may be assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with UKG Pro and Pave is a strong plus
  • SaaS industry experience is a strong plus
