Summary

Join Results for Development (R4D) as a consultant judge for the Health Systems Strengthening Case Competition! You will evaluate submissions from USAID staff and partners, using your extensive expertise in health system strengthening. Your responsibilities include reviewing approximately 13 case competition submissions, completing evaluation forms, and participating in meetings. The timeframe is approximately 5.5 days between January and June 2025. Applicants must submit their CV, cover letter, and daily rate by January 3, 2025. Requirements

• Demonstrate extensive expertise in health system strengthening, with some engagement in the thematic areas of integration, primary health care, implementation and evaluation
• Perform a non-biased review of assigned applications
• Submit their current CV, cover letter, and requested daily rate of pay by Friday, January 3, 2025

Responsibilities

• Attend activity kick-off meeting
• Participate in the development of the scoring criteria/rubric
• Participate in evaluation meetings
• Review approximately 13 case competition submissions
• Complete evaluation form scoring the submissions in accordance with the agreed upon criteria
• Submit initial evaluation cases to R4D by May 31, 2025
• Participate in a final judge’s meeting to select finalists to send to USAID for final selection of the winners
