Container Platform Developer

Summary

The job is for a Kubernetes Platform Developer at Trendyol Tech, an e-commerce company expanding internationally. The role involves developing a private Cloud Kubernetes platform and improving existing platforms. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience and skills in CI/CD pipelines, distributed systems concepts, Observability and Monitoring, and knowledge of Golang or Rust.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and methodologies, including automated builds
• Follow new technologies and improve the existing platform
• Technical English proficiency is a must

Responsibilities

• Develop a Kubernetes Platform for private Cloud
• Continuously improve yourself with your team members by learning new technologies and acquiring new skills
• Participate in planning meetings, estimate tasks, do code reviews, and code in pairs

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of core distributed systems concepts, such as fault-tolerance, consistency, and distributed rate-limiting
• Experience with Observability and Monitoring
• Designing knowledge of HA systems is a big plus
• Experience with one of Golang, or Rust is desirable
• Experience working with private or public cloud technologies (Openstack,AliCloud,AWS,vCloud,Azure) is a big plus
• Experience with managing large numbers of diverse systems with configuration management and software delivery platforms (such as Terraform, Spinnaker, Puppet, Chef or Ansible) is a big plus
• Working knowledge of one or more of the following technologies (Kubernetes, Consul, Vault)
