Content Intern

Summary

Join Khan Academy's US Content team as a Content team Intern and collaborate with experienced Content Creators to develop, launch, and improve educational content. Under the mentorship of a seasoned professional, you will manage a project from start to finish, gaining comprehensive experience in the content creation process. This internship offers a chance to present your project and participate in an intern learning community, exploring the integration of AI-powered tutoring into content. You'll gain valuable insights into content creation in an edtech company, informing your future career decisions. The internship is a full-time, 8-week remote program with a culminating presentation. The position requires deep knowledge of financial literacy and relevant teaching experience.

Requirements

• Passion for education and instructional design
• Motivation by Khan Academy's mission
• Deep knowledge and expertise in financial literacy
• 2+ years of experience teaching financial literacy at the K-12 or university level
• Ability to harness creativity, empathy, and pragmatism to design learning experiences
• Commitment to equity and delivering engaging learning experiences to all learners
• Ability to connect day-to-day work to larger goals while paying attention to details
• Adept project management skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Proven cross-cultural competency skills
• Interest in careers in content creation within the educational technology space
• Availability to participate in an 8-week full-time remote internship program and a remote event in August 2025

Responsibilities

• Develop, launch, and upgrade content on courses in your area of expertise
• Own and drive a project that gives you end-to-end experience with all aspects of Khan Academy’s content creation cycle
• Share your project through a culminating presentation at the close of the internship experience
• Learn from colleagues across the organization and how different teams collaborate
• Explore ways to integrate Khanmigo (AI-powered tutor) into content
