Continuous Improvement Delivery Manager

Summary

Join LGC, a leading global life science tools company, as a Continuous Improvement (CI) Delivery Manager. You will lead Agile delivery and backlog management across data engineering and platform teams, optimizing Agile processes and ensuring smooth execution of continuous enhancements. Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Data Architecture and Engineering, you will play a critical role in removing delivery bottlenecks and driving transparency and accountability. This hybrid/remote position offers flexibility and the chance to influence Agile delivery within a data-driven organization. The role requires proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Manager in data or technology-focused teams, strong knowledge of Agile frameworks, and experience working in data environments, particularly within cloud-based architectures. A Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification is desirable.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Manager in data or technology-focused teams
• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and backlog management
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, balancing strategic and tactical needs
• Experience working in data environments, particularly within cloud-based architectures
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Responsibilities

• Act as Scrum Master, facilitating Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews
• Own and manage the CI backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities and strategic objectives
• Coach teams on Agile standard methodologies, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
• Identify and resolve impediments, ensuring smooth delivery of enhancements to our data platform
• Partner with key team members to refine requirements and maintain a clear roadmap for continuous improvements
• Track and report on key delivery metrics, driving transparency and accountability across teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification is desirable
• Experience working in enterprise data teams is highly advantageous
