Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making by senior leadership
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and internal controls
  • Supervise accounting staff and provide training and support as needed
  • Coordinate annual financial audits and tax filings
  • Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and resource allocation
  • Monitor cash flow and investment activities to optimize financial performance
  • Stay current on financial trends and best practices in the education sector
