Requirements

- Strong knowledge of public finance, government accounting, and relevant laws and regulations
- Experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making by senior leadership
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and internal controls
- Supervise accounting staff and provide training and support as needed
- Coordinate annual financial audits and tax filings
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and resource allocation
- Monitor cash flow and investment activities to optimize financial performance
- Stay current on financial trends and best practices in the education sector
