Summary

Join Avalere Health as a Copy Supervisor and conceptualize, develop, and oversee the creation of promotional materials for assigned products. You will train direct reports, participate in strategic planning, collaborate with art directors, and present materials to clients. This role requires 5-7 years of professional writing experience, including at least 2 years in pharmaceutical advertising copywriting. Supervisory experience and expertise in HCP, Patient/DTC, and disease state education are essential. A strong portfolio and advanced Mac skills are also required. Requirements

  • 5-7 years of professional writing experience, with at least 2 years of pharmaceutical advertising copywriting experience
  • Experience in HCP, Patient/DTC, and disease state education - branded and unbranded
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated track record for independently producing successful, compelling, and strategically sound pharmaceutical promotional materials in 2 or more therapeutic categories
  • Proven ability to collaborate with a variety of team and client members
  • Comfortable working within tight deadlinesย with ability to prioritize work and remain flexible to pivot and address new developments as needed
  • Advanced Mac experience with all Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suite
  • Portfolio required

Responsibilities

  • Write effective promotional copy, acting as a primary copywriter on at least one product
  • Review material produced by direct reports, as applicable, including review of final manuscripts, as applicable
  • Supervise senior copywriter(s), copywriter(s) and junior copywriter(s), as applicable
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of assigned therapeutic categories
  • Participate in strategic promotional planning for assigned products
  • Understand and ensure compliance with the editorial process
  • Demonstrate mastery of manuscript submission process, including referencing and regulatory details of assigned product(s)
  • Interact with Art Directors to develop creative concepts and executions for assigned products
  • Present concepts and promotional material to the client
  • Assist in product launches
