Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data reporting roles, with a focus on Tableau
  • Expertise in designing and developing complex Tableau dashboards, including experience with point-in-time reporting and data visualization best practices
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for querying databases, performing data analysis, and integrating data sources
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management, working with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize reporting needs
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex data and present it effectively to different audiences

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust Tableau dashboards that track sales, marketing, and service performance, ensuring data visualizations are intuitive and accessible to stakeholders
  • Create point-in-time reports and enable real-time analytics, ensuring accuracy and relevance of data at any given moment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into actionable data visualizations
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring a deep understanding of their reporting needs, setting clear expectations, and delivering on time
  • Utilize SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis to support dashboard creation and reporting
  • Present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences, using clear and concise communication
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis to support business initiatives and make data-driven recommendations
  • Continuously improve the usability of dashboards by incorporating feedback and making iterative enhancements
  • Partner closely with Business Intelligence and other data oriented organizations to ensure consistency in reporting standards and definitions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce and/or NetSuite integrations for data reporting and analytics
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes
  • Familiarity with advanced analytics concepts, including predictive analytics or machine learning, is a plus
