Requirements

• Possess a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and internal controls
• Have 5+ years experience in corporate accounting
• Possess a CPA or equivalent certification
• Have extensive experience in managing accounting teams

Responsibilities

• Lead the corporate accounting, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Drive best in class processes such as the financial statement close, inventory, fixed assets, compensation accounting, debt and compliance, accruals and leases
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls, ensuring adherence to company policies and mitigating financial risks
• Ensure all financial practices comply with accounting standards, laws, and regulations
• Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy within the corporate accounting function
• Partner with departments such as FP&A, Treasury, and Operations to support strategic initiatives and decision-making
• Manage relationships with external auditors, ensuring a smooth and efficient audit process

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience working in a Big 4 accounting firm or a publicly traded company
• Have a CPA or equivalent certification
• Have a proven track record of managing and implementing process improvements
• Have advanced Excel skills and proficiency in data analytics
• Have strong communication skills with experience presenting financial information to executive leadership
