Requirements
- 1-2 years of marketing communications experience (tech industry experience a plus)
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and shift workload to meet deadlines
- Exceptional English-language writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn, collaborate, and be a team player
- Able to work independently and part of the marketing team as a whole
- Passion for trying new things and a strong drive towards solution-oriented problem solving
- An understanding of key marketing metrics
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field
Responsibilities
- Work directly with the Communications Manager and the Brand & Communications Manager to maintain the tactical execution of our public relations, analyst relations, sponsored editorial, and thought leadership marketing programs
- Work cross functionally across the organization, as well as with external international PR agencies
- Work with the Communications Manager to execute on public relations strategies and executive thought leadership to enhance brand awareness globally
- Partner with the product marketing team (PMM) to maintain and build relationships with key industry analysts
- Partner with the Brand & Communications Manager to find opportunities to share our brand through sponsored editorial
- Execute on the public relations strategy, assisting with high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media
- Support analyst briefing logistics, content, research questionnaires, and staff analyst briefings alongside PMM
- Create background interview briefs for press interviews and analyst briefings
- Build talking points documents for JumpCloud spokespeople that include key messages we want in the press
- Staff media interviews alongside JumpCloud spokespeople
- Daily monitoring of media coverage including featured articles, inclusions, and brand mentions
- Gather weekly/monthly/quarterly media metrics and assist with analyzing, generating actionable insights, and reporting this with the rest of the organization
- Keep JumpCloud employees up to date on important press and brand programs
- Maintain a calendar for direct journalist relationships
- Write press releases and publish them on the company website
- Ghostwrite contributed content for company leaders
- Update the press page on the company website with new press articles weekly
- Evaluate opportunities for sponsored editorial on an on-going basis and help push contracts through our procurement process
