Requirements
- 8-10+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related field
- Proven track record in creating and executing communication strategies at a senior level
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Expertise in media relations, crisis management, and executive communication
- Ability to unify diverse teams under a cohesive messaging framework
- Strategic mindset with hands-on experience in communication tools and platforms
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a corporate communications strategy that unifies messaging across all business units and aligns with company goals
- Ensure a cohesive brand voice in internal communications, external media, and digital platforms
- Partner with leadership and HR teams to develop internal communication initiatives that inspire, inform, and engage employees
- Support change management efforts with clear and consistent messaging
- Oversee media relations, including drafting press releases, preparing spokespeople, and managing relationships with journalists and media outlets
- Lead public relations efforts to enhance brand visibility and reputation
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to craft speeches, presentations, and thought leadership content
- Serve as a strategic advisor on messaging and positioning for leadership
- Develop and manage crisis communication plans, ensuring readiness to respond effectively to potential reputational risks
- Act as a key spokesperson when necessary
- Lead content strategy for corporate social media platforms and the company’s website, ensuring alignment with the overall communication strategy
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of digital campaigns, making data-driven improvements
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing communications team
- Foster collaboration across departments to ensure integrated communication efforts
Preferred Qualifications
A Master’s degree is a plus
