Requirements
- 15+ years of relevant experience
- BS or equivalent in accounting or finance
- CPA
- Experience managing and running controllership functions at complex and multi-national publicly traded companies; IPO experience a plus
- Strong analytical skills with experience in implementing various analytical techniques for Close cycle
- Experience in managing a global team
- Strong leadership, communication, organization and technology skills
- Strong business acumen
- Executive presence and ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
Responsibilities
- Directly responsible for accounting (GL, AP, month and quarter end close, system implementations, subsidiary setup and compliance), treasury and tax compliance
- Drive operational excellence for financial processes
- Reduce time to close by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to automate or streamline manual close and reporting processes
- Ensure a successful and timely annual audit
- Lead/co-lead business process solution design/redesign and implementation
- Drive data transformation to deliver faster and richer insights in support of data-driven decision making
- Partner with business operations to forecast accounting implications of investments
- Understand business to optimize the financials and presentation
- Develop a high-performance team, establish and continuously improve business processes and procedures to drive scalability in a high growth environment
- IPO readiness: fast, accurate and timely close, SOX like controls and sub-certifications
- Oversee global consolidation and partner with finance operations leader on key initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
Strong financial processes, US and international operations experience along with US GAAP technical accounting knowledge
