Corporate Controller

Summary

Join 6sense as their Corporate Controller, reporting to the SVP Finance and Chief Accounting Officer. This leadership role involves collaborating with stakeholders to drive policy governance and scalability initiatives. You will oversee financial statement preparation, ensure compliance, manage an accounting team, and lead process improvement projects. Requirements

• 15+ years of relevant experience
• BS or equivalent in accounting or finance
• CPA
• Experience managing and running controllership functions at complex and multi-national publicly traded companies; IPO experience a plus
• Strong analytical skills with experience in implementing various analytical techniques for Close cycle
• Experience in managing a global team
• Strong leadership, communication, organization and technology skills
• Strong business acumen
• Executive presence and ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for accounting (GL, AP, month and quarter end close, system implementations, subsidiary setup and compliance), treasury and tax compliance
• Drive operational excellence for financial processes
• Reduce time to close by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to automate or streamline manual close and reporting processes
• Ensure a successful and timely annual audit
• Lead/co-lead business process solution design/redesign and implementation
• Drive data transformation to deliver faster and richer insights in support of data-driven decision making
• Partner with business operations to forecast accounting implications of investments
• Understand business to optimize the financials and presentation
• Develop a high-performance team, establish and continuously improve business processes and procedures to drive scalability in a high growth environment
• IPO readiness: fast, accurate and timely close, SOX like controls and sub-certifications
• Oversee global consolidation and partner with finance operations leader on key initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

Strong financial processes, US and international operations experience along with US GAAP technical accounting knowledge
