Summary
Join Study Group as a Corporate Governance Analyst and play a vital role in supporting the Director of Brand Marketing and Corporate Governance. You will ensure robust governance, risk management, and compliance reporting across Study Group’s UK network. This position offers the opportunity to significantly impact governance practices, contribute to data integrity, and participate in risk management initiatives. Key responsibilities include corporate risk reporting, monitoring risk mitigation actions, operationalizing consistent risk reporting, maintaining risk registers and dashboards, and ensuring accurate compliance reporting. The ideal candidate possesses strong data analysis and presentation skills, experience briefing SMEs, and demonstrable project management skills.
Requirements
- Powerpoint skills – creation of reporting packs will be essential
- Working knowledge (or an assured ability to learn quickly) of presenting data through PowerBI Dashboards – making data meaningful to drive decisions
- Ability to engage with various internal stakeholders across the business to drive actions forward to a strong conclusion
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task against competing deadlines at times
- Experience of briefing SMEs (i.e. data specialists) to develop dashboards that present meaningful data
- Demonstrable project management skills (not necessarily a formal qualification)
Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Brand Marketing and Corporate Governance with corporate risk reporting as required
- Monitor risk management through tracking that mitigating actions are delivered by Action Owners towards residual risk scoring
- Operationalise accurate and consistent risk reporting across the UK ISC network to provide accurate reporting across clusters and partners to feed into steering meetings and internal groups
- Maintain accurate ISC risk register (with input from colleagues across the network) and PowerBI dashboard to provide reporting and assurance to Study Group’s governance groups and partner steering meetings
- Maintaining data governance policies and access guidelines that safeguard Study Group data in support of adequate reporting and insight to drive business decisions
- Data ownership – maintain adequate records of data ownership across Study Group so that any issues with data quality can be addressed
- Data Quality – define how data quality will be measured across Study Group and maintain accurate reporting on current status, whilst understanding where we aim to get to
- Master & Reference Data – Understand how data flows between systems used across Study Group to ensure that data integrity is maintained across systems
- Data risk reporting – ensure any data quality / ownership risks are accurately reported in the corporate risk register with mitigations logged
- Ensure accurate compliance reporting in line with our regulating bodies to provide reporting and assurance to Study Group’s governance groups and bodies
