Corporate Strategy Analyst Intern

Summary

The job is an internship as Corporate Strategy Analyst at SOPHiA GENETICS, where the intern will analyze and transform the current payment model into a credit-based system. The intern will work with various departments, conduct research, and assess the feasibility of the new payment model.

Requirements

• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
• Excellent command of mathematics and finance (e.g. Major in Maths)
• Knowledge of revenue recognition principles and/or healthcare market is a plus
• Degree in Management, Economics or related field

Responsibilities

• Participate in the transformation of our current payment model by analyzing the risks, benefits, and feasibility of a credit-based system designed to enhance customer loyalty and provide more flexible payment options
• Conduct a state of the art analysis by researching companies that have a credit-based system in the healthcare industry
• Analyze the feasibility, risks, and potential of a credit based payment model for SOPHiA GENETICS by collaborating with the Finance, Product, Sales, and Marketing departments
• Conduct a study with selected customers to assess the adoption of the model and identify key considerations

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of the healthcare industry, particularly hospitals, and understanding of their financial and operational dynamics
