As a CPA Accountant, you will participate in a wide range of operational tasks, including reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reporting, and ATO compliance. This is a permanent, full-time, work-from-home position with a schedule of 8 AM to 5 PM (PH Time), including a 1-hour lunch break. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CA/CPA accreditation, and 3+ years of experience in a similar role. The company focuses on creating inviting living options along Australia's east coast.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CA/CPA accredited professional
- 3 years + experience in similar role
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Xero
- Ability to manage a small team
- Must have Australian Experience
Responsibilities
- Reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Manage Various Park & Village Budgets
- Accounts Payables
- Accounts Receivables
- Process weekly payroll
- BAS lodgment for all entities
- Superannuation lodgment
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Preparation of P&L, balance sheet, and monthly management reports
- Monitor cash flow
- Manage employee reimbursements
- Month-end and year-end closing, including all aspects of the accounting process (journal entries and accruals)
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards
- Maintain fixed asset registers
- Ensure compliance with ATO requirements and support external audits
- Maintain appropriate documentation for tax, audit, and statutory purposes
- Provide financial insights and reporting to support decision-making
- Identify opportunities to streamline finance processes and enhance efficiency
- Support the CEO in ad hoc analysis and projects
