Summary

Join We Are Rosie as a Creative Director/Art Director for a 1-2 month contract to cover parental leave! This fully remote, 30-40 hour per week position offers an hourly rate of $65-80. You will lead the conceptualization and development of creative assets across multiple channels, providing art direction for various design projects. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and overseeing production from concept to completion are key responsibilities. You will present creative concepts to stakeholders and ensure brand consistency. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in social media concepts and video content, along with a strong portfolio showcasing creative direction.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in social concepts, assets & video content
  • Experience working with animators and directing animation projects
  • Ability to ideate and design for various social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.)
  • Advanced Photoshop comp skills
  • Proven portfolio showcasing creative direction across multiple channels
  • Strong understanding of restaurant industry trends and customer engagement strategies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects)
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or related field
  • Experience managing creative projects with tight deadlines
  • Strong storytelling abilities with a keen eye for visual aesthetics

Responsibilities

  • Lead the conceptualization and development of creative assets across multiple channels and touchpoints
  • Provide art direction for digital, print, and environmental design projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and messaging alignment
  • Oversee the production process from concept to completion, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
  • Direct and provide feedback to designers, photographers, and other creative resources
  • Present creative concepts and strategies to internal stakeholders
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of social media trends and best practices for creative content
  • Ensure all creative outputs adhere to brand guidelines while pushing creative boundaries
  • Develop storyboards and creative briefs for video and animation projects

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in quick-service restaurant (QSR) marketing
